How to organize your playlists

Practical tips for keeping large playlists tidy in NyxiaTV using favorites, profiles, categories and multiple sources.

A large playlist can contain thousands of entries. Without a little organization, finding what you actually want to watch becomes a chore. The good news: NyxiaTV gives you several simple tools to tame even the biggest libraries. Here is how to use them well.

Start with favorites

The fastest win is marking favorites. In day-to-day use, most households watch a relatively small set of channels regularly. Flag those as favorites and they rise to the top, one click away, so you skip the endless scrolling.

Use profiles to separate viewers

If more than one person uses the app, profiles keep everyone’s experience clean. Each profile has its own favorites and continue-watching list, so the kids’ shows do not clutter your sports favorites and vice versa. On Premium you can create multiple profiles that sync across devices.

Lean on categories

When you import a playlist, NyxiaTV reads the group and category information your provider includes and organizes entries accordingly — live TV, movies and series, plus genre groups. Browsing by category is far quicker than scrolling one long list. If your source is Xtream Codes, this structure is usually especially rich.

Tip — If your categories look messy, the issue is usually the source data. A provider with clean group titles produces a cleaner library — it is worth asking yours for a well-tagged playlist.

Manage multiple sources

Some people keep more than one playlist — for example, separate sources for different content. On a Premium plan you can add multiple playlists and switch between them, keeping each tidy rather than merging everything into one giant, unmanageable list.

Practical habits that keep things tidy

  • Prune favorites occasionally — remove channels you no longer watch.
  • Give each profile a clear name so the right person picks the right one.
  • Refresh or re-import a playlist if your provider has added new content.
  • Use search for one-off titles instead of browsing the whole catalog.

A few minutes of organization pays off every single time you sit down to watch. Favorites for speed, profiles for separation, and categories for structure — that combination turns an overwhelming list into a library you actually enjoy browsing.
